Scope:
The Tomlin Middle School project consists of a new, free standing, sixth grade middle school building totaling approximately 16,000 Sq. Ft. The project also includes a complete renovation, code upgrade, ADA upgrade, electrical and mechanical upgrade to the existing 115,000 Sq. Ft. seventh and eighth grade middle school. Renovations also include a comprehensive site plan re-design to accommodate three new parking areas, new thirty bus pick-up and drop-off parking loop, site landscaping, and utility upgrades.
The new freestanding sixth grade middle school includes six fully equipped math/science classrooms with demonstration area and science lab storage areas. The new school building also includes six new fully equipped general classrooms, 400 independent student lockers, ADA restrooms, and corridor provisions to build future classroom wings along the schools north facade. The new school utilizes brick veneers, stucco, standing seam metal awnings and canopies, walkways and tinted glazing to successfully integrate with the existing campus site planning and existing building design
