Size: 6,700 square feet

Scope: Smith & Company is renovating the existing office space with a more pleasant working environment. With over 6,700 square feet, the project includes opening up the spaces to incorporate a larger reception room. Smith & Company’s challenge was to incorporate the existing furniture while updating the workspace and enlarging reception area while keeping the same number of offices without sacrificing the offices’ space.

The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) promotes a culture of civic engagement across the Rice academic community through research, service, and leadership.  It connects Rice faculty and students with each other and Houston-based partners.
