Richfield Manor Apartments Modernization
Completed: August 2005
Size:
Scope:
Modifying this traditional apartment complex into student housing proposed a challenge for the S&C design team, as traditional apartment design does not adequately address the needs of students. Constructed in three phases, the complex was brought up to current life safety codes with a new fire alarm systems and fire separation walls and fire rated doors. Apartment interior finishes were entirely replaced, including new carpet and vinyl flooring and paint. New cabinets and appliances were provided in all kitchens as well as new furniture.
