Ezekiel W. Cullen Building, Board of Regents Suite Renovation
Completed: In Progress
Size: 2,600sq ft.
Project Summary
Board of Regents Suite Renovation, Registrar's Office, University Advancement Office and Admissions Office
The Ezekiel W. Cullen building was built in 1948-1950 and was designed by Alfred C. Finn . For today's standards the building is technologically outdated. The entire building needs new amenities to enhance the productivity of campus employees and fulfill student's ever expanding demands of university features. With renovations done by Smith & Company, The E Cullen building is getting a new interior. Many offices pertaining to political needs and student services for college enrollment will be located in the building.
The new 2,600 square foot suite for the University's Board of Regents Suite for the Athletics/Alumni Center had to endure a total relocation to the first floor of the E Cullen Building for a larger space. The wall of Regents will also be displayed, which entails the portraits of all the past board members to the present who occupied the Regent chair. The project will include all new furniture and high end fixtures, such as custom wood veneers which are used extensively throughout the conference room.
The Registrar's Office is a renovation of 2,200 square feet. The office has relocated the Enrollment Management office into a temporary space. This project will add the minimum requirements of office and eleven workstations.
The University Advancement office is moving floors within the same building and Smith & Company is designing and finishing out the new office. The 2,600 square feet of space will incorporate an addition of three new offices a conference room, reception area and eleven workstations. Upgrades on finishes will include new carpet, ceiling tile and paint.
