Smith & Company Architects is currently working with JE Dunn / HKS on the new MD Anderson Sugar Land Project.

Overall, the project comprises a new 5-story, 476,000-SF building on a 30-acre site. Moreover, the cast-in-place structure will be enclosed by curtain walls, precast architectural panels, and metal composite panels. Also, surface parking will be provided for over 1,000 cars. Building will include space for multiple disciplinary clinics, diagnostic imaging and laboratory medicine services.

Our team has been responsible for coordinating the design of the entry vestibules, lobbies, reception / greeter / info area /desks, public restrooms, waiting areas, patient /visitor elevators, patient /visitor elevator lobbies, front of house corridors, meeting / multi-purpose / conference rooms, gift shop /retail / salon space.
